How can I find out what British regiment my father in law belonged to. I know he fought in North Africa and spent some time in Sri Lanka but due to family breakdowns we have no records , medals or any info. |

Medals won't help. WW2 medals are not named. |

We have three lots of service records and unfortunately none of them include a photo. |
