removing members from my tree

The criteria is that there is only a single link to another part of your tree. |

I think you have to take off everyone descended from them and work backwards doing it. |

Unfortunately went down the wrong line of research and put people on my tree who should not be there! How do I take them off? Can anyone help please. |
