deaths on Ancestry

I want to look for a death from 1936 but can't seem to find it on Ancestry. It's a while since I did any searching and I wonder if someone could remind me how to do it. |

On home page, on right hand side, Birth Marriage Death Indexes, then Deaths 1916-2005. |

I did that but it would only give me the deaths that have been transcribed. I wanted to search the full index. |

all the deaths have been transcribed to 2005 so you should be able to search on a name. |

You can still search the full indexes on Ancestry, its just a bit fiddlier than it used to be. |
