For a long time I thought I had Lydia Mary Richards nee Turner sorted out but when I had a look at a birth certificate that was obtained in 1949 for my Grandfather for his National Insurance, I discovered that his mother's maiden name was Evans. I first started out looking for Lydia Mary Evans but took a wrong turn about 18 months ago so now back looking for Lydia Mary Evans. I am awaiting the arrival of a marriage certificate for Lydia Evans and Thomas Richards, the only one that I could find that fits in the time frame ws in 1862 in Brecknock, Breconshire, Powys 11b, p251. |
