Have just got to the point of needing a recent-ish (1967) marriage cert to establish whether this is my relative. |

I'm not sure but I don't think you need an exact date to order a marriage certificate - just a birth (I'm sure someone will tell us if I'm wrong). |

Age at death must be given for applications where event was registered in last 50 years |

You can't order a birth certificate for a birth in the last 50 years unless you know the full details from the certificate (i.e. exact date of birth and parent's names) - again I'm happy to be corrected if this isn't the case. |
