The reason you are seeing different screens when you log into various sites is because all your previous cookies and preferences have been lost. |

Hawkwind, I realise that. So I did log in afresh to Ancestry, but it still keeps shunting me to ancestry.com. |

That is really odd as I tried logging into both sites and both sites accepted me showing all of my previous searches etc. |

It doesn't matter whether you go to Ancestry . com or Ancestry . co .uk It is ultimately the same web site. |

I don't have an Ancestry sub right now, so I can't check stuff out, but I think there's two problems here. You can use your Ancestry sub on any machine, but to use it on the second machine, you have to have explicitly logged out on the first machine, and you probably didn't do that. Probably the best way to fix this is to give them a call. |

It is probably me, but I am going crazy, and I now have been through so many different screens I would be hard-pushed to phone Ancestry with any lucid dialogue. |

Example. Search Ancestry all records for Ellen Alden born 1846 Hampshire, england. all I get is a load of Us census lists. She never went near the US. I have set Priority United Kindom. I don't get the choice any more to search UK and Ireland Records, that option isn't there. |

I agree with mgnv. You need to get your log-in sorted first. |

Well, all I can say is it seems to have sorted itself without me doing anything, though I don't have the facility any more to search for Fred Bloggs and it pulls up all censuses, bdms, and sometimes a member's tree at the top. Has that changed in the last few days? |
