Rob, yes I belong to the Hampshire Genealogical Society and I do have the burials CD up to 1837. |

As we have a direct family line originating in London I upgraded to premium when the parish records became available and within hours I was jumping for joy...after head butting the proverbial brick wall for the past few years lol. |

My problem is Rob that I only have one relative that is likely to have been married in London, if I thought that could be found I might upgrade but others have looked for me and can't find him. Most of my relatives come from Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Derbyshire and Staffs. I probably will upgrade eventually though and yes Birds in a nest, worth a try. |

Ann in Glos - It was certainly worth it for me. Found four in the Criminal List so far (must be a bad lot - LOL) as well as loads in the London Parish Records. Three things to bear in mind with these London records (1) they are not complete yet - parishes and part-parishes still to arrive (2) They will not cover all of London - mainly the old Middlesex and City of London areas, as these are what is at the LMA, but (3) any marriages you find will save you the price of a cert, as you are seeing pretty much the same thing (might even "make a profit" on the upgrade). |

Ann in Glos - Ancestry offered me a free upgrade in 2008 from Essentials to the 'new' Premium membership. |

I am watching this as I have the basic subscription and was considering taking out the Premium. I thought that the Parish records being available would make it worth while, and the criminal list. |

I found premium to be a waste of money. The additional records were of no use to me and what there was was available elsewhere at no cost. |

SO should I get Premium membership off Santa for ANcestry? |

I have a Premium sub with Ancestry. I am now trying to trace my husband's Irish roots. I have used other (Irish) sites to obtain a marriage and some birth/bp records but I wondered if a World sub with Ancestry would cover Ireland? |
