I was talking with a friend about the fact that I had been unable to find any reference to my grandfather serving in the war. To which he replied what if he was unfit to serve? I had never considered this and am now wondering if there was any register of such men kept and if there is,is it possible to access them. |

I hadn't realized that they had reserved occupations in the first war. I know they did in the second because may dad was in a reserved occupation. |
