My ancestor died at the seaside while convalescing but his body was brought home to the East End where he was buried. Perhaps something similar happened to your ancestor. Irene |

Ancestry's new records of London burials would seem to suggest that an ancestor, Joseph Levitt, who died at Cardigan Street, Lambeth in November 1854 was buried a week later at St. James the Less, Bethnal Green, giving an address of Charles Street, Southwark. |
