The Blue Funnel Line (Alfred Holt and Co) ceased trading in 1988, but it's possible that company records may be held at the Liverpool Records office, at the Central Library in Willliam Brown Street. It might be worth giving them a call. Even if they don't hold the records, they may be able to point you in the direction of where they are.
edit
Just checkec, and I think that passenger lists might be held at the National Archives at Kew.

Hi Can anyone please help, can anyone access the passenger list for the Elpenor, which I believe is a Blue Funnel ship, between 1922 and 1923, I think she was commanded by a captain Thomas Rogers Evans.
I am especially interested in passengers/family/drew list with the names Mary/May, Gwynfryd, (Isabelle) Dilys, Iola and possibly Lloyd Evans (Watts-Evans)on it.
many thanks
Vicki
