Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a Henry Oakenfull, born in 1809 in Canterbury, subsequently married Jane Griffiths in Dover in 1832. These were my gggg parents. |

Hi, yes, that's where I found the marriage. I can't remember! where I found Henry's birth (probably just from 1851 census), and I have been unable to find anything useful about Jane. |

I have looked in the BIVRI for you and can find no trace of them |

It's so frustrating! Presumably as that info was extracted it means that there's nothing else shown in the marriage register such as father's names etc? |

My Henry and Jane are living in Dover in 1841, as Pakenfold in the census. Jane is in 1861 as Akenfield, a widow. There are a LOT of different ways of spelling their names, but I just can't find a connection between, for instance, the Oakenperts you mention Jim, and my two. |
