Checked the page number on FMP. Think it should be 626 by comparing it with the number 18 on the entry beneath it. |

Are you specifying his parents' names as a checking point when you order this cert? If they don't quite match they won't send the cert. |

Have you looked for the GRO reference for his birth? You may be giving too much information because if something is even only slightly different on the certificate from what you give then they will not issue a certificate. |

Hi I have tried on 3 seperate times now to obtain a birth cert for my grandfather from the general birth death and marriage , each time have paid my £7.00 and received £4 back saying unable to find. I have got his correct date of birth his mothers maiden name and his fathers name and both parents dates of birth. I am confused as to why no records can be found, he is on the 1901 census, I also gave his place of birth has any one got any ideas as to how I can obtain a certificate. Thankyou in anticipation |
