Hi all,
I am a beginner and need a bit of advice, cannot find birth or census for this person, first sign is marriage in 1903 to Joseph Allen, then 1911 census listed place of birth as cardiff.

have looked at free bmd and been through the indexes for 1878 - 1881 and nothing!
any advice or ideas gratefully received. Her fathers name was Joseph.

Joseph tinson listed as labourer

my mistake witness was not his brother was mixed up with who he was living with in 1911 census.

not sure joseph tinson was alive, as I have a cert for another marriage differenet couple where fathers job is listed although i know he was dead at the time of marriage and it does not say deceased!

Can you give us the full 1911 census to see who they are living with?

They might be family

Battenburg Report 6 Sep 2009 21:15

Perhaps Amy wasnt born Tinson. Her mother might have married Joseph Tinson so Amy viewed him as her father
