for bmd certificates you can only look at the indexes, to get the information that is on the certificate you have to pay, £7 a pop via the GRO |

this might sound a bit daft but i am wondering if the general public can look at these records in person rather than keep sending away for the information (as for the birth marriage and death certs it is getting rather expensive) does anyone know? |
