Have just looked at 1841 Census they were living in New Bond Street. On the 1881 Census Joseph Taylor Robinson said he was born in Bond Street. London. I think you have just found my GGF for me, I have been looking for him for years. Does mean I am not a Robinson after all, but thank you so much. |

Yes it looks likely, and there is an Elizabeth Taylor there as well. i was only looking in Bethnal Green. I will now try looking for an Elizabeth Willsher born about 1811. Thank you so much. |

Could this be Charles in 1841? |

I do not know, tried looking at 1841 Census for Bethnal Green as she would have been 6 months pregnant and there are quite a few Elizabeth Taylors that could fit. Charles Pastorini only appears in 1861 census (place of birth said Edinburgh but could be wrong) he was a lodger in Bloomsbury and ironically there was a William and Francis TAYLOR on the same page. I have found a birth 1813 and death 1864 (aged 47) for Charles Pastorini as well. Where was he in 1851 when his son was staying with the Robinsons, the mystery gets worse |

I can't find marriage of Charles and Elizabeth could it be that they were never married but she said she was on the birth cert? Reason for sending for this birth cert was I can not find birth for my GGF Joseph TAYLOR Robinson 1842 -1925 and this Joseph Pastorini was staying with the family in 1851 aged 9. Joseph Robinson does not appear on any census till 1861 and on every census after that he was born some where different..Its the Taylor bit that interesting. |
