hi i am tracking a peternal grandfather born 1883, but seems to have been adopted around 6 yrs old. are there any sites which would show records of this adoption and maybe who his real parents were. cheers. |

Formal adoption records didn't start until 1927 so you are unlikely to find anything. Most adoptions before this date were informal and a relative or neighbour or friend brought up the child. |

his BC will do julie but i cant get hold of it until tuesday and i am just so damned impatient!!!lol |
