I have an Ancestry uk account, and under the tab ' Family Trees' is a tree that is not mine. The tree is vast and I keep getting updates on an almost weekly basis, which I've now managed to stop. I don't know how this has happened, but want to get rid of the tree completely. Has anyone got any ideas how to remove it? |

Have you been in contact with another tree holder as a guest ? |

Hi Lindsey, Yes we were in contact, but it turned out we wern't connected. I've contacted her again to see if her tree was private and have asked for her to remove me, but still no luck. Just wondered if there was another way. I search the site to see how it can be done, but either it's not there or I'm so tired I can't see it. |

Surely you can only delete your own tree this way, not someone elses? |

I cannot help but would it be under "tree settings"? |

Like Jim, I don't have Manage trees, only tree settings. Perhaps you only see manage trees if you have more than one, which I don't on my main Ancestry A/c |

I don't have any trees on Ancestry ... but once got in touch with someone regarding a possible relative with an unusual name. |
