Please can I have some advice on info on certificates I have come to a bit of a dead end with one of my relatives. I have his death details ( I know they are right because I remember him dying) I have found his dob from his death cert and then found his birth registration but I can't find him on 1901 or 1911 census or lets say I can't be sure it's him. I know he spent all his life in the same town but don't know his parents or siblings details. |

Marriage cert would give the name & occupation of his father. |

If you know the name of his wife, then you can be a lot surer you've got his marr cert than you can of his b.cert. |
