If you google Dr Thomas John Barnardo, you will find all the info you need on his "schools" and other establishments as well as boarding out and emigration of the children in his care. |

Could anyone tell me did Dr Barnados have their own schools in the 30s/40s please or were the children sent to the normal school for the area. |
