Good morning can anyone tell me if there is anyway I can follow the tracks of a family by the name of Richards that lived according to the 1911 census at 7 Pleasant View, Cefn Cribbwr, Bridgend? This is the family of my great aunt and seems to be the only trace I can find of her family (Davies) but now do not seem to be able to go further I thought that it would be a simple task after the 1911 but no such luck, I thought perhaps of school records or something similar but cannot find anything. With such a name as Davies it is like looking for a needle in a haystack even trying to track her two known daughters by marriage is not as simple as it seems any advice of where to look would be much appreciated. Perhaps the library local to the area could help. They may hold the electoral rolls or be able to tell you where they are kept. I asked for an electoral roll look up in London, and they charged £6 to send me details, although I believe some place do not charge. |
