I am trying to find James Chantrell's parents.

Half an hour ago I put this request on the Records board but to no avail. I think maybe this is the correct board for advice. |

If he was still alive in 1851 (which is possible), you might be able to find his birthplace out using the census. With any luck, this should help you find a possible baptism record in the right area. |

1851 and 1861 has them born St Pancras and Islington. |

Look for other Chantrells born around the same time. There aren't too many of them so they could all be related. |
