Did your Thomas marry? If so, his father's name should be on the marriage cert which would help to confirm any baptism found. If it isn't, it probably means he was illegitmate. Warwickshire County Records Office has Bastardy Bonds. Try their website - there are no records on line but there is an online catalogue. |

You can go to the county records office for the area and look at the parish records there, or, if you do not live close to the area you can order filmed copies of parish records from your nearest LDS Family History Centre (addresses are on www.familysearch.org). It only costs a few pounds to order a film and they keep it for about a month to give you time to view it. |
