I have a relation born in the Transvaal in 1894, His parents are shown living in Dundee in both the 1891 and 1901 Census. Any ideas of how to find out when they went and returned or birth records in SA ?. |

Thanks Sliwowski and Margaret. I've tried Ancestorsonboard without any luck. The South African archive was interesting in so far as their were a lot of later references to the name 'Scrimgeour' which shows there was some presence there of the family i'm researching. |
