Not sure why you think anyone named Docksey is posting on here!

This is the entry for the marriage which was posted by yours truly!

If you take time to look on freebmd, you will find out that marriages are transcribed from the PAGE...which shows more than one marriage........

THAT is why Henry Gauld and Emma Docksey are on the entry along with the couple you are interested in.........

Hi Docksey,
Thanks for your help for Jane McStay, I noticed you have a Henry Gauld with the same entry as Jane & Charles. Can you explain why you put it there please?

I have suggested that Christina return instead to this thread where there is information and reply to those who have offered it.

You didn't comment on the possible birth suggested by Janet.......this is the full entry

Name: Claude C Levine
Year of Registration: 1915
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
Mother's Maiden Name: Money
District: West Ham
County: Essex, Greater London
Volume: 4a
Page: 648

As Barry was born in 1936, this would appear quite feasible

Heather Report 14 Jun 2009 22:33

Richochets Rhoda would match nicely for age and place with the Claude Levine birth found by Janet.

PM received

From Christina
Hi Richard,
Claude married first a Rhoda Felstead, I do know they divorced and Rhoda went on to marry a Downsell, not common names but I am looking it up for their son Barry Levine. I seem to be stuck as I cannot find their details, other than Rhoda was born in 1898. Many thanks for offering your help.
-------------------------------------------------------
I wonder if you have the right year for Rhoda's birth.............isn't it more likely to be this one?

Christina, what exactly are you looking for? There is a birth of Claude Levine 1915 in West Ham, mother's maiden name Money, would this be him?

No, I am pretty sure they are seperate names. If, however, you have taken names from the census it could be an enumerators error.

Does anyone know if people called Claude, are really called Charles? As I am looking for a Claude Levine and am only finding Charles.
