Hi Angela- have found Emma on the 1841census as daughter of tailoress and 1851 when married entered as a dressmaker. Cannot find birth of first born but there is a William Hogan born March qtr Bristol ref 11-166 which fits in timewise as he is 2 mths on the 1851 census so he would have been born in January 1851. This looks like their first born unless one child had died between 1849 and 1850. -JLe |
