If the birth that Linda found is the correct one then I don't think she was adopted, as there is usually a number written in the margin against a birth where the child has been adopted. |

hi pam all i know is her first name and the name she uses now but i know this is not a lot but its all i know. the family name she uses is biddulph but i know this is not a lot her first name is margaret born 1936 july so am not sure how to go about finding out her birth surname as she refuses to speak about her childhood |

hi can anyone help me i am doing my family history and have hit a brickwall re my mothers family. this has happened as she was born in 1936 and everyone tells me she was adopted as a child so how can i find out. my mother has always said she is from london as we know its a large area and she has lived in manchester as long as i can remember. can anyone please advise me how i can solve this prob |
