The deleted message basically said they had visted Sculcoates, the church graveyard was over grown and that there was really nothing of interest in the area/not much there. I felt such an innacurate portayal of the area needed correcting. |

As far as I knew Sculcoates was a regsitration district in Hull, looking at the records for my ancestors registered in that district (address's at the time of birth, marriage and death) that area is alive and well today and takes in several churches. |

There's a Boteler Street. It's now Gibson Street. |

According to 2x great grandfather’s birth cert he was born at Botelor Street, West Sculcoates, Hull in 1842. |
