Hi there,
Looking for a family in the Rotherham area in the 1901 census. Evelyn Wood born 1899/90 Scholes near Rotherham. He died in the first world war and i would love to know who he married, possibly a sarah or katie as they are the two names that come up in free bmd. Would also like to know where they lived and a house number. I know it is a lot to ask, please don't use your credits, and im not sure if you can do this from another site without getting into trouble.

Do you mean 1911 census he would only have been 11/12 in 1901
There is this one in 1901 though it says daughter, on the image it originally said son and then someone has crossed it out and put daug. Maybe the enumerator thinking he had misheard. though of course it is one of those uni-sex names

Thanks for that everyone. Oops silly me, just one of those weeks. I forgot about the date. I haven't ventured as far as the 1911 census yet, as some people have had problems wth it, so not sure how to get to it. Not sure if you have to pay for registration on the site and then pay per view. Must be having a bad day today, pulled hip and is sore. Must have gone to brain.

No i am not sure if the marrige in 1904 is correct, couldn't find another one. Also the date of death for the first world war is correct and many thanks for all you help. A bit brain dead today. lol.

I think nutty bongo is looking at the 1904 marriage where the two females are called Sarah and Katie.
