Personally I don't think it is ever a good idea to search for living children on web pages. |

Was your husband married to the Mother? I may be wrong but this happened to me and has also happened to my Step-son regarding his child. |

Unless they did it legally, ie the second husband adopted the boys, or they did it by deed poll, when you might be able to find something published or in a court report, then it might be impossible to find out. |

People could (and still can) change their surname at will. Are you sure they actually changed it, or were just shown on the census with the new husband's surname - that is common? |

CAN ANYONE TELL IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO FIND OUT IF SOMEONE HAS CHANGED THEIR SURNAME. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND MY HUSBANDS TWO SONS , I NOW THINK I HAVE BUT THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT SURNAME, THAT OF THE MOTHERS SECOND HUSBAND |
