I've just been given some help, by another member, with tracing the death of my wife's GG Grandfather. It seems that he may have died on a merchant ship called the Sidney Thomas in 1897. |

If he died in 1897 then he would be included in the "Deaths at Sea Register" at the National Archives at Kew (BT 334). |
