If there was possibly another person with the same name, it might be helpful to follow the 'other' mother forward in parish records to see whether it gives a clearer picture. |

It really depends on how thorough the local vicar/clerk was. Some of the records I have give an exact address, the mothers maiden name and the fathers occupation (brilliant). Others only name the father and give the mothers first name :( |

You may need to look at the registers themselves. If you can order the film from the Church of Latter Day Saints and view it at your local LDS church then you "should" see an address and father's occupation on the parish register. Sometimes the address only shows as the village, other times you get more detail. |

In order to confirm siblings, is there any way of finding out where people were living at the time their children were baptised. I don't want to just assume that all the children I have found in the parish records are my ancestors brothers and sisters. |
