I decided to have a look for him on the 1881 census. I see his name there is Wellfair and the transcription has him born in Russia! The original says Sussex. |

Get the death cert first £7 from GRO online using the ref given. That will tell you what he died from. Or you could have a go at googling his name and the date to see if anything comes up on the net. Mind you that name could be a pain for googling. Put in Welfare genealogy. |
