was on a site the other day, can't remember the site as i didn't save it. But if you put crimean war soilders in your search bar, you might come up with the site. I searched for mine, but they were not on it. Happy hunting. |

Findmypast website has military deaths abroad but I'm not sure whether or not they have records for the Crimean War. |

My gr.great grandfather, John Hinley, b 1831, Madeley Shropshire, died between 1856-1860 but cannot find death registration. There is a rumour that he may have died as a soldier, abroad, in the Crimean War. I have no evidence that he was a soldier, does anyone know where there might be records of casualties for that war? |
