Just put the name of the village in the keywords, & use county of residence. |

You can use just the place of birth to search. it will show you everyone born in that place. If it is a fairly small village it is not too difficult. But is could take some time.This is on Ancestry |

using the town or village name only? I have Ancestry and FMP. |
