His Ticket of Leave was reported in The Maitland Mercury and Hunter River General Advertiser of Wednesday 12 June 1850 having been published in the Government Gazette of Friday June 7th 1850 |

.....seems he may well have been 'freed' soon after arrival ... (apparently he/they had already spent 12mths in UK gaol) ....yes -it seems none of the States wanted this load of convicts! .... I couldn't see any bmd's related to him ....so did he return to the UK? ....Valerie |

Various information is held at the National Archives including Transportation Registers for 1787-1871 - problem is not much on line so you would probably need to vist TNA to consult them. |
