Parish Records on IGI - any more info

Yes, I once saw in a parish record, a child of 10 years......killed by the sails of a windmill...........one can only imagine how horrific that would have been...... |

Yes Jacqueline........ especially the marriages as the originals will have the witnesss names, and maybe an adress, and wether their "of this parish" or not, baptisms if your lucky may include mothers maiden name, and occupation of father, and occasionally an address.......I think it all depended on the individual minister/ vicar in how much information they recorded. |

It's me again - Is there more information on the original Parish Records than you get on the IGI site? I have found a few which I am sure are mine, will I find out more from the originals? |
