My Gtx3 Grandmother was Elizabeth but in the 1841 census she is Ann. I also have a letter sent to her by her employer addressing her as 'my Dear Ann'. Her employers name was Elizabeth, she was the housekeeper, I guess that her employer didn't want her to have the same name as herself. |
