If you search somewhere like 1901 Census online, you have to buy credits [usually in blocks of £5] to view each search result. You can view unlimited entries if you subscribe to Ancestry.co.uk or similar for a monthly or yearly fee. You can also do a lot of searches and view the results for free at your local library, but the data is limited to what each library has paid a subscription for, and they might only let you search 1 hour per day. Really frustrating!! Also remember the 1911 Census isn't complete yet. Hope this helps. Regards, John & Di |
