Bit late to say now but I have done all the searching first and wrote down the ones I am sure off before I would pay out to see the census page.

I put the persons name I wanted in the search.
The name came up and an area they lived
I then put just the surname I had found in the search with no forenames.
Then put when they were resident
then further down on the search for put the person I found as other people living in the household and then it brought up all the people living in that household.
Using this method I have found loads of my ancestors for free.
Good luck Irene

I went along and bought credits for the 1911 census feeling all warm and cosy and oh dear- all i get is no match no match. I bought 280 units and still have 240 left. It looks like all places I need are not yet online ( OK I am scottish and I know mine wont be there for a couple years yet but other half is english but no match seems to be common answer- so I am rather fed up- every message I read went OH WOW but I am more OH DEAR.

Is this just me?

Best regards

Susan
