Well, yes it could be correct but have you looked for other possible marriages? |

Hello! I've just descovered that I can use familysearch.org to look up relatives once the census's run out! I am a little puzzled to have discovered a christening may have happened before the parents were married? Surely this wouldn't have happened? I was searching for the birth of a DAVID SHELDON born c1831 Staffordshire and discovered a christening in Tipton, Staffs on 31 OCT 1830. Parents were listed as Thomas Sheldon and Elizabeth. I then discover a wedding between a Thomas Sheldon and an Elizabeth Tibbetts on 29 NOV 1830 at ST Thomas, Dudley, Worcestershire. As this is the fist time I have used this site, I was wondering whether or not I was using it right. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Naomi. |
