I sent for some parish records when I received them they are so dark I can hardly see the names is there any way I could make them easier to read thankyou |

If you have some sort of photo editing software,there is usually an option to turn the image into a negative. This gives you white writing on a back background and it is much easier to read. Using this technique, i find that I am able to read very feint images which have almost faded away. |
