Thank you for the help. The Fell/Hamer connection does look optimistic. I have sent off for a couple of certificates and will take it from there. It's so addictive, I'm not getting anything else done! |

I'm new to this and have managed to trace back my paternal family to my great, great grandad born in 1828 but have now hit a brick wall. I can find Joseph Fell (sometimes known as Hamer) as a child in 1841 census his father maybe William Fell (1806). |
