Oh, you're going to have to change your attitude, Andy, about not allowing for people making mistakes. Genealogy is just full of mistakes, birth years and birthplace changing from census to census. people deciding to use their middle name instead of first name. Not to menton the horrible mistranscriptions on the censuses. Keep an open mind! |

I posted a death reg'n today for someone which gave the birth year incorrectly........it was a year 'out', as proved when I also found the man's birth, which was confirmed as being correct by his brother. |

Hi Andrew, I don't suppose he had another christian name of Reginald did he? Found this Barnes Reginal N born Chipping N3 D27 Oct Q 1908. It was hand written at bottom of page on Ancestry. Is it yours? |

Date of birth is not always correct on death register. Depends on who registered the death, they didn't always know birthdate. I would suggest you expand your search +/- 2 years. |
