My great gran had 9 children, apart from the twins everyone was born at a different address. Only four of them survived early childhood and each death of a child is at a different address apart from the twins who died 5 days apart. This means I have the same family living at 13 addresses over a period of as many years or at the height of this 1884-1893 11 addresses. |

The mmn most likely a clerical error on the part of the registrar when he was recording the info given. |

But if he was born 1889 then chances are the family had moved by 1891. People tended to either stay put for many years OR move around often as their finances altered so I personally wouldn't worry about different addresses especially when they stay in the same area. |

On Free bmd John Albert Austin married Laura Annie Colman Chelsea 4/4 1888 so that matches what you have -It is possible that the registrar made a mistake or the transcription is wrong and Austin was written in place of Colman -It might be worth checking with the local [Chelsea ] registrars office |

I am stuck on my nan's side (Esther Annie Ausin 1901). So i had decided to start from the beginning and ordered a Birth certificate for her eldest Brother's John Albert Austin... According to the certificate it says he was born 1889 and the parents were a John Albert Austin (which is right) but the mother is listed as being Laura Annie Austin formerly AUSTIN (But she was a Laura Annie COLMAN). |
