Have found the two names I'm looking for on two different ships on 12th April 07 and 26th April 07, same ticket number but on both there is a line through the names and 'nob' written against them. Could this mean 'not on board'? Does anyone know? |

It could mean that. When I've found passengers not on board, I've looked for later dates, and I've usually found them immigrating about one to four months later. |

Thanks Lisa. These were only a fortnight apart and crossed out each time. I know they were there in 1909 but I haven't been able to find them on subsequent passenger lists. Another problem is that I think they used a different name even though other details were correct. |
