If your problem is just a slow PC and you have to wait a long time for pages to load wait until you get Broadband, it's 10 times fster. |

As said, it's not the outgoing e-mails that are the problem, it's the incoming one's. If you have Norton you will be okay as your system will be clean. I hope you let Norton do a scan now and again, you can set it to do this automatically or you can select to do it anytime. |

I can't see the point in scanning outgoing ones, and Symantec is not the easiest software to trouble shoot when things go awry. |

Personally wouldn't advise leaving this off long term. Now that particular mail has gone, try re-checking the "scan outgoing mail" option and see if you can send. It may just have been that one it took offence to! |

What client are you using for e-mail, Outlook Express or another service. |

This would indicate a problem with one of your outgoing mails. Maybe one is too big (large attachment?). Try moving any outgoing mails from your outbox to another folder one by one, then hitting send/receive each time, to narrow down the problem. |

There could be a number of reasons for this, it may be something to do with your Internet / Browser settings. |
