I have Elvy Raymond (actually Reymond) on the 1901 census aged 10 months, but have been unable to find a birth certificate for her. The area is Islington. Any ideas? |

Should it be Elsie Rebecca Reymond? If so birth registered j/a/s 1900 Lambett 1d 321. |

Think it is likely to be the Ivy Victoria Raymond. It is the transcription that has it down as Elvy but it is very difficult to read on the census and Ivy sounds more likely to me. I'll get the birth cert and see if the parents are the same. |

I think we should all look for Rheumatism Rayment on the 1901 census. Off to have a search. |
