.....Just a little bit more to add to Ruth's help ..... the 'QLD State Library' (on-line) will check their records incl electoral rolls from 1920's+ -and MAY have newspaper notices of relevant BMDs .... They can also check death notices (given date & (married) name) -hopefully they may have suggestions too. (even a newspaper to place an 'ad' in) ....Valerie (WA) |

Hi Immy, because of privacy laws in OZ we have the 100 year rule & births are not available on line after 1907. There are lots of sites available online but no births. I am not sure of the protocol on this site but if you contact me I can have alook at electoral rolls to 1936 & see if I can find afamily for you. |
