I regularly open two windows at once on same computer.Which is a similar thing,try it. |

Go to top menu...click on FILE - down a few - NEW WINDOW - opens the identical one that you have open - I often use it to cross-reference marriage details on ancestry... |

Or another way to open an identical window is to press Ctrl+N so you can have more than one open at the same time to do comparisons etc. as Jayne mentioned. |
