computer help please

I am trying to scan a photo to add to an email but I can't seem to get it to an attachment any help please |

You will need to scan it and save it to your computer, ie in my documents or my pictures folder, then attach it to the email. |

Christine that is the trouble I have scanned it but I can't seem to find where it says save |

When I start to scan it always comes up asking where you want to save it to. |

Before you press scan ,,,choose the word ..file ....then scan it and it should appear saved in my pictures |

If you've already scanned it, go into "my documents" and there's probably a file in there called "my scans" and it'll be in there. |
